The people with the money don't want their entire business to rely on a few people with the skills to draw their IP, they want to make it "universal" so any indian can theoretically make a sequel of the same quality. The idea that art such as movies and cartoons are good because they are made by talented artists goes AGAINST their goals. AI is doing a lot to destroy this too, by the way. There aren't even any talented artists with original styles anymore that get known for their work. Thats why people like the ghibli AI slop, its like a "oh yeah, remember when there used to be unique styles for each movie?". Even mainstream manga is fucking generic now.
