I don't totally hate it, but some of the characters just really don't work in terms of communication of what they do (the fat blue medic), and others veer into just plain ugly (again, the fat blue medic).I think if they leaned into the 'cheap television sci-fi' atheistic, the characters could actually work well, but they were going for a high budget 'bad-ass and quippy' sort of thing, which didn't match.
