you ever seen those yt videos where artist make a palette and twist it so they dont know which color is which? And they turn everything into grey scale and paint the pictures based on the value. And the painting would become beautiful looking even if the colors are totally different. However the value of the painting sets the stage on the painting. Color is only to give the painting/illustration the vibe/emotion of the image. Value places the image into 3d form/reality.
