All my friend's mostly sketch but I always love a good painting.
>>

Sketch if the focus is random OCs and characters I’m unfamiliar with. Painting if the focus is something I enjoy.

I actually don't like paintings. Not from a single artist I've come across. I just don't like them. So naturally I don't do them.
>>
I don't like art really.
>>
i like an artist who can do both -- whose portfolio or media tab is mostly sketches but can paint very well from time to time
>>

Those who sketch. I prefer draftsmanship to rendering.

I wish I could draw like this. How do people draw messy and wobbly lines and make it look good? If I ttried to draw her earring for example, I'd be CTRL-Zing every single circle I fail to draw.

I love sketching way more than painting. Lines make me orgasmic

Sketch for anime
Paint for portraits

drawing well takes more skill than painting objectively, thats why you never see those fraud contemporary "artists" choose drawing as their medium, its always big paintings or sculptures because the colors and forms distract you to think they are actually doing something.

It's fucking experience. The answer to your question is unironically JUST DRAW.

I used to absolutely love sketches far more than finished works, the rougher the better, to the point that I wouldn't save the finished works of artists I like, and only saved their sketches.
Years later, my tastes changed as my own art improved, and I came to appreciate the final product of the artist's effort that much more, and I realised that many artists I used to follow I've either lost track of, or have disappeared all together, and all I had were shitty sketches, lol.

Even artists I still actively follow, their folders are full of crappy indecipherable sketches.

u are upset someone pointed out u are attracted to nigger things, its okay

OK genius but how do I draw like that WITHOUT practicing
>>
>>7757537
I mean I can appreciate a good sketch but if that’s all you do then that’s not really art now is it?
