Hey guys, I'm a digital art teacher looking for some advices on how to improve my art skills, feeling like there's more I can teach to my students and to myself. My Instagram is @Danteilustracion in case you want to see more of my work. Thank you in advance and sorry my English.
Yeah welcome to Reddit.

>>7760099what's that?
>>7761470That's the exercise we do to analyze our skill level, the upside down Stravinsky for digital painting. Take this wip and finish it in your style, then post again and outline what you've learned. Then you get feedback.
>>7761479but I'm going more for a fantasy style, I don't like to draw modern stuff all that much
>>7760099Was my first thought too.
>>7762299improvise. adapt. overcome
>>7759839the way he is thick on all limbs, tell me that you're primary references are not gallery pieces or historical image books but video games.
>>7762817Dude, I've been teaching digital art for years now, you don't know what you're talking about.
>>7766828Don't take the advice you receive here badly. People don't know you and are brutally honest. I hope you see this. You can be a teacher for years but >>7762817 is right. Your rendering is OK (not pro or highly advanced though) but the gesture of your poses and anatomy are very rudimentary still. You need to study some masters and some fundamentals first. I know this stuff is gonna sting even more if you have been teaching for a while but tough love is only going to make you a better teacher and artist overall. People here can be rough and most of them are nodraws, but there are some good artists and they don't have an agenda. It is the truth .
>>7759839Guys on /ic/ are getting soft. I thought this beg was gonna get his ass tore apart.
>>7759839just out of curiosity. Why did you decide to ask this here of all places?
>>7759839As an inspiring artist, what courses you currently teach right now? I couldn't find any info from your socials
