What are the best resources for learning to draw from imagination and also generate ideas? Those are my two biggest hurdles by far, and I don't want to train technical skills when I don't even have any ideas to apply them towards.
>>7765462>how do you draw from imagination... like how...>how do you think... how do you... imagine...>i don't understand...>someone please... teach me how to think...unironically switch to ai, you need it
Your imagination.

>>7765462if you drew you would have known the answer
>>7765462imagine an applethen draw itKeep doing that until you draw the perfect apple
Nobody can teach you to do that. You either start doing it, struggle and stop, or you start doing it, struggle and don't stop and eventually through enough struggle other people start to say your work is good but you never feel any different.

>>7765462literally draw from imagination until you get good at it. For ideas, just consume media that sparks your imagination, then draw what pops in your head. When you notice your drawings suck, then go study how to draw the parts you can't do from imagination. If you really need more hand holding, read the James Gourney book.
>>7765462>generate ideasThis is not an art question, it's more to do with storytelling and business.
>>7765462By thinking of what you desire and want to see more of. And also while you a tit you can ask yourself if you are able to really feel things or are able to think clearly. For example you may be constantly stressed out so you don't even perceive the stress anymore because it has gotten normal for you. But this will seriously hinder your ability to tap into that creative part of your brain. Identify if you have a problem like that and work on it.Meditating helps as well to get those thoughts in order. Just observing your mind letting every thought happen and see where it takes you.
