Is it possible to go from intermediate to professional after age 33? I'm starting to feel my intelligence crystallize, and have noticed how habits are baked in and harder to break. Seems like it is far more common for artists to be savants from a very young age, 99% of strivers never approach natural talent
>>7771029>Is it possiblenot for you, no
>>7771029if you need to ask, no
>Another fucking thread about talent
>>7771029yuko shimizu took up art in her mid 30's. the answer is yes.if you're asking here you're just asking to be told no.
>>7771029Yes, just take supplements to reverse aging effects. The good shit, not no nature valley type shit.
>>7771029>it possible to go from intermediate to professional after age 33?depends on the fetish you're drawing. if you do diaper inflation with shitting dick nipples you can start at any time. at 33 I'd say you can make it with pissing ponies but it needs to be at least /int/
>>7771029Post art
>>7771029Artgerm did it so theres hope for you
>>7771029No, not really. Get a real job.
no it's over for you if you didn't start drawing at the age of 3 then it's over
>he wasn't literally born with a pencil in his handNGMI
>>7771029Yeah, but let's say you're able to get to a professional level. I assume you mean the kind of quality that would be splashscreen art for League of Legends or a weeb gatcha game. Of course you can, but you're looking at 4 years of work to get there if you organize your life around learning and then you're entering an industry that chews out young and enthusiastic artists where you need to spend a decade making contacts and building your career before you might be safe. Or you take you risks online and spend 10 years building an audience. Or you can get to that level just out of pure enjoyment of the craft in which case you have your whole life so who cares just draw
>>7771029is "lionising" the new "smashed"/"blasted"? in journospeak? because i've seen it a few times now.
>>7771029You can get good at anything you set your mind to. Your habits might feel stuck in place, but you're not a slave to them. Just start breaking them through small ways. Set a timer for how long you allow yourself to relax. Draw something as soon as you get home from work. Take on an art challenge where you do style studies or gesture drawing every day for 3 months. The sooner you start, the more glad you'll be
