Could an art style that mixes the stylized fun look and character designs of the left with the master level fundamentals and detailed anatomy and detailing of the right work well and be pulled off flawlessly?
I really enjoy artists like Atsushi Ohkubo, CLAMP and Kazuki Takahashi and I'm aiming for a similar style to theirs, but I also want to learn the advanced anatomical knowledge and strong hatching that's present in the works of Tetsuo Hara, Hiroaki Samura or Takehiko Inoue as well. What are some artists that manage to mesh both style philosophies well outside of Murata?

Yeah. ogure ito probably is close to that.

Some of the threads on this board are starting to seem really repetitive.
Like they appear to be about drawing on the surface but when you actually read it, it seems like OP is actually avoiding drawing.

You know what I mean, Gabe?

Sure, but this is a critique board so I'm sure these OPs follow up by posting examples of their art. They'd have to be giant fucking faggots who reply PYW when they get called out to not do that and I know that OP is a good boy who drew today. He wouldn't let me down

Or worse, AI prompt fishing by asking artists how to describe a combination of styles

Here you go

An anime-inspired duo with clean, minimal line art and soft pastel tones (left side influence), fused with a dynamic painterly battle scene full of motion, dramatic lighting, flowing fabrics, and swirling weapons (right side influence). The composition blends sketch-like outlines and delicate youthful character design with expressive brushstrokes, warm golden tones, and kinetic energy. Characters retain stylized, slender proportions with school-uniform elements, while surrounded by swirling cloth, blades, and atmospheric dust, merging minimalism with painterly chaos."
