Guys... I really need your help. I wanna learn to draw in semi-realistic anime style. I have been trying to teach myself for the past 1 year. I tried the coloso chyan, mogoon, ritotuna courses.. but they didn't really help. I can't draw shit now. I wanna master this skill. And i am ready to put in the one.. Please suggest what i should do. >>7777542You’re over complicating things. Study FAPS. It will teach you everything you need to know to draw competently: Form, Anatomy, Perspective and Style. You don’t really need anything else, just mileage the fuck out of FAPS and you’ll do fine.

>>7777576FAPS = Form, Anatomy, Perspective, Style. Form = drill the ability to draw a box from various angles, manipulate 3d shapes by carving into them, etc. Anatomy = understanding of the human body + lots of figure drawing. Perspective = understanding the pattern/formula of vanishing points implicitly and how objects are affected by them. Style = copying whatever artists style you want to have, noting the shapes and ways of describing form. None of these have to be perfect or mastered but they should be practiced regularly.

Think about each line before you draw it and try to draw it right the first time. If it's wrong just carry on and finish the drawing. It's going to look bad at first but if you stick with it you'll learn how to properly use your eyes and hands when drawing.
