Not sure if this belongs here, but how would one go for commissioning an hentai manga from an circle or artist? I already have the fandom, story/plot & characters planned out, and now I wanna go onto making it into a reality. But the process I'm wondering on, like where would I find specific artists/niches? Pixiv? Elsewhere? And what about costs?
Looking specifically for artists who specialize in ryona/reverse ryona as well as guro, (also not sure if there is much for the Pokemon-side, especially for those topics) gritty artstyle would be nice too

With that said, youd have to go to Twitter and scout there, I remember seeing a few guys that offered comic commissions, not sure if they are what youre looking for. Other than that, yeah, Pixiv is your next best bet, other japanese sites are too random.

Any of those places will do but given the severity of the subject matter and specialization in a certain type of creature design it will not come cheap. You're going to need to get a kind of fringe furry artist and will be looking at around $100 an hour for someone skilled. Anyone not skilled isn't worth it since they likely will be cutting corners in other areas.

The more fringe/fetishy combined with the scope of the work you're looking at honestly close to 5 figures or more if you want a 20-30ish page book. It's not just the demand of the artist, it's also the very specific nature of what you want and how it's basically unpublishable outside the scope of whatever else the artist could be doing outside furry art so that will factor into cost as well.

>wtf $100 an hour?

Yep, you can thank AI for that. The pool of talented artists is a fraction of what it was a few years ago and anyone still surviving is making sure they get compensated. And they should; intent of AI was to replace them initially, so fuck anyone who wants "MUH SOVL" for pre-2020 money

I was thinking of offering myself to do some Pages free just for practice but then I searched what Ryona and Guro meant... I hope you get better

what the fuck is reverse ryona?

The same as ryona, but for instances where the subject in question is male

I hope you're prepared to pay out the ass. Porn tax + furry tax + niche fetish tax, all of those things add up. Best thing to do would be to find some artists you like and message them on social media. Deepl/chatgpt are good enough now that you don't need to worry about any language barrier.

Contacting them directly. Find someone you like on twitter or whatever they use, and message them or leave them a comment asking about it. If they have an e-mail, use that. Chances are almost nobody will be interested though, and if they were the price would be steep.
