Can we get a clip studio thread?Settings perhaps? Good features that you might are slept on or you found helpful? Or maybe drawing software in general.
>>7779469Ever since I found out that "brush density" is CSP's version of flow, I found that having opacity set to 90-100 and brush density to 10 creates a very traditional, pencil-drawing feel. Works wonders for line drawing and it's really smooth.
>>7779469If we use this for a drawing software general - anyone know of a crack or pirated version of newer version of Rebelle?
Lasso Fill , been having fun making clean edged shapes with it while rendering. Beats constantly trying to clean shapes made with pen tool.https://assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=1771136
>>7779772What is Rebelle?
>>7779818NVM, its default with the line and shape tools (Direct Draw Tab.)
>>7779469>Settings perhaps?use custom keybindings, a shortcut to switch between the blending modes normal/lighter color/darker color is very handy for painting
>>7779825Jewgle it.
>>7779772I do but I don't spoon feed retards.
can someone send a pirated link for csp its been a few years and would like to try again
>>7779919>piratedIt's on sale for like $25 around this time of year, you can't spend $25 you cheap prick?
>>7779919I got CSP 1.0 EX for like $40 and it has just done everything I wanted it too. Getting the pirated versions working was just annoying for me.
>>7779469Appreciate a thread like this. I'm looking for what's the best option for editing comics? I use traditional and simply use CSP for editing. I occasionally use it for animations but 90% of the time it's just for editing.
>>7779469Palantir spyware
>>7779469Is 4.0 worth it?
>>7779918Everyone is in awe of your high horse moral f@aggotry.
should i switch from krita, i feel like krita has more customizable controls so im hesitating
>>7780208I switch between them on one piece because they each have functions and brushes that play off each other
>>7780208I don't see how krita could have more customizable controls considering in CSP you can rebind every single key and modifier keys too, and the 1% of things that aren't available to binded you just set up with auto actionscoming from photoshop theres not a single thing I can't do in CSP that I could do before
>>7779469I dont see any of you motherfuckers talking about my homie Flat Marker. The layering you can do with this is great. You can get rendering to look like either marker like its name sake or a painterly effect easy. Plus the way its set makes it great for doing strands of hair. This shit with round brush is *chefs kiss* fucking heaven
I still use Autodesk Sketchbook, lel
>>7779469I discovered recently that you basically need internet if you want to use CSP. Yeah I know it works a week without internet, but you need internet if you want to use it permanently. Why is this?
>>7780685you need the internet to verify your software license, to help prevent piracy. works for 15 days offline before you need to verify again.
>to help prevent piracyIs this legit shill thread?
>>7779469I really enjoy the watercolor brushes and the crosshatching tools. Charcoal pencils my favorite but you can do alot with them. Ive only been drawing / using the software about a month tho so i dont really know much else
Im trying to get better at layering for different objects and colors, i find the process of learning as you go instead of watching tutorials way more fun
Heres one i drew today using the charcoal and watercolor
>>7779926the fuck?
>>7780745That just how the app works if you paid for it. But you can always pirate it and block it with firewall. no one stopping you.
>>7780802Latest CSP updates included a legit israeli spyware.https://old.reddit.com/r/ClipStudio/search?q=overwolf&restrict_sr=on&sort=relevance&t=allhttps://support.clip-studio.com/en-us/faq/articles/20190019
>>7780810Take your meds, not every israeli software is predator
I own 1.6.2. Am I missing out on anything by not upgrading? I've only had specific problems trying to download and install brushes but someone told me that it should be working regardless, I thought it was because it's regular CSP not EX but that doesn't seem to be the problem either.
>>7779920i already got csp i didnt want to pay again. Was verision 4 worth it if you already have EX?
>>7780810CSP doesn't include it, overwolf fucks with CSP
>>7780846Nah not really. The have puppet warp but... it's not something worth to spend another $25 just for one situational feature. Especially if you already have EX. But layer comps is handy if you regularly make stuff with large variants/variations. Sucks that they paywalled that under EX tho. Also Celsys keep releasing 'new' versions every year but only added like a few useful features and then a bunch of 3D slop, and then expecting previous perpetual users to purchase another license just for that 1-2 features. Fuck off Celsys.
>>7779929With the perpetual license, you don't get any updates past the initial one X.0The subscription model is usually better if you care for new features and shit. but If you, say, buy 3.0 perpetual pass, thats all you get. You will have to buy a license again if you want the 4.0 or whatever version they com up next, and still if you want updates you will have to sub anyway, but you already spent money on a perpetual license, so its just smarter to get the subscription from the get go.I swear they have the most stupid subscription model ever created by human, its so bad they need flowcharts to explain it.
>>7780845Features that you might or might not find useful like transform tools, some "smarter" selection tools etc, if you just draw and not edit much, then you can just rock the old one.
>>7779920paying for every update is actual retardation, no matter if you're getting a subscription or a one-time license. they chose to be dumbasses about it, let people dodge the retardation
>the alt tab pen pressure fuck up bug is still not fixed
>>7780790Cute!
