Finally getting back into digital after a long hiatus.
Drew this yesterday, with some minor adjustments made today.
>>7782772I like this scene, paintings with water are always interesting, I think you could do a bit more with that reflection, showing more of the character, seems like a nice opportunity given the subject, I do like the ripples but my brain tends to question if this is something would happen in a body of water, I do remember the first thing I did on a boat scene was doing that kind of ripple effect, maybe there are cooler or more specific alternatives but this one is neat regardless.>>7782862Cool design, I am getting Yu-Gi-Oh! vibes from it. I like the way you rendered the flames, perhaps something that would help is breaking some of the pattern of the flames, maybe its feet or hands could use a large diffuse amount, or reduce it in certain areas to break repetition.
>>7782879>I am getting Yu-Gi-Oh! vibes from itnta but I see it now that you said it
>>7782879Not familiar with Yugioh so the similarities are not intentional. The design is part of an entire set of designs I've made for my worldbuilding project.

Idk if this will turn out well.
>>7782685Very cool. Love your colouring. Very punchy.
>>7783711Thank you, I like vibrant colors
So...a random Japanese guy asked me for a drawing of this character 5 years ago on Pixiv and I completely forgot about it. Today, I stumbled across his message while updating my profile, so I finally decided to draw her. I have no idea what became of him or if he's even still alive since it was at the beginning of the pandemic, but if he's doing well, I hope he sees it someday.
>>7784408For reference, this was my quality level when he asked me for that drawing.
