Has there been an illustrator that has been heavily influenced both by anime girls, but also cartoon and comic girls and also by classical painting european girls and impressionism?Like you can see in his style influences from both eastern and western both realistic and cartoon styles.

>>7783870That painter was a realist painter trained in American western standards as expected of any student going into Fine arts program. But that painter started helping his friends sell stuff on Comiket he learned of the Touhou game franchise and learned anime around 2012.No, there are no known artist that are painters that paints Japanese AND American cartoon references.

>>7783870i think your question is outdated. we have the internet now and you can literally google example images of the art style of any culture and time period. you can combine middle ages tapestry with furry porn if you want. the real question is if you mean someone with an established background and classical training in a fine art acquired japanese brainrot. i don't think there's a lot of people left who just sit in monestaries and make oil paintings, chances are most people know about anime.
>>7783870Dai'yi'/Loserpotato's art comes to mind but you're using way too many words you don't understand. Just say you want anime characters painted in a semi-realistic manner.
>>7784764There's also Pablo Uchida. But like Dai'yi he has actual taste so he's not painting moe anime girls that are emotional prostitutes for 4chan incels.
>>7784764No, I want anime moe girls like satoshi urushihara but with a bit more simplified drawing from the loud house, but the rendering looking like pixiv rendering, but done using impasto techniques in Krita.
>>7783870Does JoJo count?
>>7784772there is no impasto in digital you retard
>>7784811you can code a simulation of it.
>>7784813that's called simulated texture, impasto is three dimensional by definition, learn how to properly use the words you are using, or speak more plainly, either of the two.
>>7784816do you realize software can simulate a 3D fluid?blender can do that shit.
>>7784818you absolute fucking brainrot mogul, but a digital software cannot simulate your fucking eyes seeing it in 3D, because the display screen is a 2D surface, that's why nothing in digital is considered impasto, or la fini' or any other surface description, because in the end, how our fucking eyes see the surface is the final judge, and the surface of any display screen is flat you dipshit, therefore our 3D sight cannot do much more than imagine a texture on it, but it will never experience a simulated surface from a digital in three dimensions. Impasto only functions in reality, because only in reality does your depth perception and 3D sight involve actual 3D objects, that's why people go to fucking art galleries at all, that's how hacks like Jackson Pollock or other post-modernists even managed to capture audiences.Cease your autism immediately.
>>7784825That's not my question. My question is how to imitate the look of impasto, which can be done, because I've seen it.I didn't mean it will be a physical 3D canvas 1 to 1 homoeumorphic experience to looking at real life impasto.retard.
Can we get a separate board for drawing anime and weeb shit? Its every thread. I just want proper fine art threads
>>7784838the board is dead as it is, no need to split it further
>>7783870Pic unrelated?

>>7783870Me
>>7784838make sure to memorize SHIFT+LMB so you can hide the countless retard threads like this. it's quite amazing how i have around 100 threads hidden on /ic/ most of the time
>>7783870That's just drawing western cosplayers
>>7783870Wamudraws, unironically
>>7783870this painting would be better if she were barefoot
>>7783870amibazh, Touhou artist primarily reflecting Dutch Golden Age artistic influences
>>7784769You are talking about the same guy that designed a sex bomb like Gigi Andalusia. Way to out yourself as being a know-nothing poser.
>>7787704is the dutch golden age influence making everything yellow and shittily drawn?
>>7785361Does this Japanese man ever accept commissions? Also, how do you even contact the man? Every single place that I know where he's at does not have messaging enabled.
>>7793262I believe not. in my experience, these artists that have been at it for so long such as this guy don't really do public commissions
>>7783870Literally every japanese person
>>7783870>Chainsaw Man's Reze x Monet by Jason KimThat's such a niche topic.
>>7784769Are you a femcel? Fujoshi? Transwoman?
How do I learn how to paint/render like this? Are there any longform videos/streams that I can watch as an example?
>>7796917student's guide to painting by faragasso
What are ways to digitally make a realism painting but not have it look so blatantly digital? As in, a very smooth liquid kind of texture. I don't expect the capabilities of any digital paint software to flawlessly emulate real oil paints and whatever. But what is done to get it close as possible?Types of brushes I imagine are one thing, but I'm curious if that isn't enough. Like if there are any extra tricks typically used to make things even closer beyond that. Anything trad brushes can just do by nature, but digital brushes can't.
