you need to mind value in the composition. here i just made the bg and thighs darker but you can do more specific things to highlight the focal points. another easy thing is to try coloring in the line art to get a more polished feel. also the shadow of the character is wrong, makes it look like she is right against the sheets

Tbh the guy on the left's feet aren't in perspective though. The hand shapes and small medium large design of the hair shapes could use a bit of work too, it's not just gesture that's bad its just everything except the background is kinda bad. if our eyes are on the level of her pelvis we always will be looking at the upper torso from below. the angle can be less extreme but it will still be from below. in this particular case the other arm will be visible though and you will have to figure out what to do with it.

I've dabbled in stuff for older audiences but for the most part it's been a lot of cutesy/round stuff. From production to production it depends but mostly its pretty smooth. Yeah, making both sides of the hips the same width and making the lines flow into each other helped a lot. It just didn't work when you only altered a single line and otherwise traced the model so closely. I do think you should make the hands bigger though, at the moment they are comically tiny.
