What did you do at 26?
>>7788663RIP tatsuki-san
>>7788663Kill myself (I turn 26 next year)
got my first paid comic work (it was 2022)
I think I was a new Cpl in the army trying to make a comic or something. Didn't work out and life was ultra gay. Ended up transitioning to layout work and got offered a couple jobs and learned that >the pay is garbage and like half what I made>it is literally more beneficial to sell your body to the government than it is to make 35k a year in a HCOL area.Anyway I started trad painting recently and it is very difficult
>>7788663I started drawing. I should drop it.
>>7788663Got a job at some stingy chinaman company. Got out about 2 years later with basically 100% raise. The audacity that the stingy old fart to counter offer that's still LESS than what I'd get from the new job. Anyway, got new job, much more interesting and frustrating, but I feel like I'm not doing the same old daily grind every day
Graduated Art University in a foreign country, ditched art as a career to secure a long-term work permit to make beer and occasionally do illustration in tandem with that for cash.A simple life.
This was when I was 25.
I finished the first chapter of my comic and bought I think my third or fourth house
>>7788663download hentai mangas
>>7788709Mid 50s still on the chan. Gotta respect it.
>>7788663I'm 21 and I made 2 short comics, one of 30 pages and one of 5 pages. I did not publish any of them because they suck both in story and art
>>7788719>Gotta respect itNope, I'd kill myself if I'm still walking these halls at 50. Don't encourage that shit.
>>7788663I bought a guitar and dusted off my wacom tablet. Unfortunately, trying to learn skills with my god-awful work-life balance isn't really sustainable. The only habit I managed to keep is brushing my teeth (not even flossing made the cut).
A few years ago I'd laughed at you for trying to make a thread that presupposes the existence of a sizable number of board regulars in their late 20s or older, but 4chan is declining so hard that every board is just full of bitter millennials who didn't leave when they had the chance.
>>7788776This site being majority 25+ is the only way to ever fix it. We NEED more old dorks
>>7788663If you told 12 years old me that I still have not drawn a manga by 26 I might've killed myself
>>7788834I used to think it's mostly zoomers but maybe I've been misled because it seems like everyone is insane. I simply retire into my room and try to ignore the world around me, escape into the realm of paper and pencil because I will surely go insane myself otherwise.
>>7788663jerked off, played lots of ragnarok online and drew shitty scribbles
>>7788705hello fapsan
>>7788834i feel anyone who is still on the chans on their 30s onwards is a level of social and ideological fuckup large enough that it'd significantly worsen the website, the "golden era" (lol) of 4chan in its early days had it mainly populated by teens and people in their early 20s, like most online forums
>>7788663My life up until 26 was just surviving. So I actually achieved a lot more than him, if fujimoto lived my life he'd have killed himself by 18
