>>7798890>>7798967>>7798975Ok, I took a crack at it. I think your original design was, thematically, a little bit all over the place, so I decided to focus on the body horror aspect of it. Sorry if it's not any good. I like drawing monsters and horror stuff, but gore (and female anatomy) really grosses me out, so this is kinda out of my comfort zone haha. Looking up references can be really helpful for complex designs like yours, which have a lot going on in them, and little details you notice can lead to cool developments or refinements as you draw. I thought the ovaries/fallopian tubes could be cool as little antennas that detach from the head and be used as feelers, because perhaps this monster is blind or something. Maybe it sneezes up period blood occasionally? Deer do tons of weird vocalizations, so maybe you could look into listening to those to find a sound that spooks you for inspiration. Who knows? Unfortunately, I wouldn't know about any monster design resources. I'm a big scaredy-cat irl, so I usually just draw things based on what scares me. Feel free to disregard my advice if you think I'm unworthy of giving any. I'm learning too!
