Did any of the advice given here ever help you?If so, which was it?
>>7800406this board reminds me of /fit/ where some of the advice is legit and really useful but alot of it is just a straight up troll. The only 100% true advice is that you will need to do it for a long time to get anywhere
>>7800419The thing here is that because there are no users, there are no portfolios or anything to back up advices. Thus, bad advice gets mixed with good one and there's no real way to filter it.

>>7800406>GROOOOOOOOK SUMMARIZE FOR ME, I'M TOO ZOOMER TO READ THE THREADS
I’ve never been given real advice here. I was just always told I suck and I’m NGMI and that I’m a permaprebeg.
>>7800406real advice gets shot down, while bad advice gets parroted.it's all either schizos being given real advice and not listening to it, or genuine begs wanting to improve being fed crab advice and drawing boxes for 2 years.
>>7800406Lots of bad advice thrown around here that was misdirection and ultimately a waste of time>study my fundies>draw a skull>study loomis>draw outside your comfort zonethese had the opposite effect and made me not want to draw at allBest advice from /ic/>draw in penI was using a pencil really hard for years, but it’s more than just using a pen and living with the mistakes without erasing. It is also switching up your tools when you hit a wall. Change something about your process and you’ll find hacks to drawing with any tool. Really good advice from some anon. I wish i knew who you were>draw out of your comfort zoneThis is actually the opposite advice. You should FIND your comfort zone. When you just want to put pencil to paper you have a nice goto thing to draw. When you are just starting out you dont have a comfort zone. It’s actually hard to find. People trying to grind fundies as a comfort zone. That wont feed you for years to come. It took me years of poking around to find a nice cozy spot to draw in. Find one and return to it when you get lost or need an easy win. Learning the names of muscles, the planes of the face, and setting up perspective grids isnt going to excite you enough to move your fatass when you need a spark to draw.
>>7800505That is real advice. Those posters are trying to save you from wasting time on a hopeless endeavor.
