However the video ends with one of my least favorite takes, which is that art is something that should be done as a hobby by passionate amateurs, which is unironically a pretty privileged take. Not everyone has a job that affords them a lot of excess free time and creative energy, and I have never enjoyed doing art less than when I'd come home from my burnout inducing job after a long commute and having approx. 2 hours to paint once chores and dinner were taken care of. Better make them count, and forget about exercise or socializing. Basically what he's saying that only middle class and rich people deserve to make art.
