In 90s, 80s and even late 70s furry art used to be great but now its a total troonslop (expect for kemono because japs and kors still have that soul that old furry fandom used to have)

Too much of a focus on porn (Yes early furry was full of porn but now furry seems almost all porn art), not studying fundamentals, and furry becoming "mainstream" (as in it's not a niche hobby/interest anymore), and I'll also say, artists now a days are often not as skilled as artist were back in the day, general artist degradation has a bit to do with it.
