If we're being real the worst looking one is the one is the anime. I get that as animation it exists under different design constraints that emphasize speed and efficiency over detail, but that overly fat tongue and the crude details in the straps and buckles are pissing me off.

Only the high production animes can afford to not outsource scenes to less skilled artists and even those can still look shitty if you grab a random still. I do think it's a pretty bad decision to not put more effort into scenes that match up with the source content though as those are begging to be compared.
