the longer I spend on a drawing, the worst it gets. y best drawings were done quickly with no effort at all, and my stinkiest turds spent hours of frueling polish.

>>7827040Because sometimes when you're new the muscle memory just clicks together and you can get something cool when you're not trying, but every journey into the deep end of working hours on a to piece is a journey into uncharted waters. The more you work the further your muscle memory and intuition will go into the process of completing a drawing and the number of things that are fucked up and need adjustments will shrink. I know it seems like no progress now, but if you're being conscientious about your work I promise it's happening
