You only have to study something once. I've been recently doing my art sessions with a simple philosophy; I set my intention and follow it through. Not a "goal", just an intention.Like, my intention this evening was on my sticky notes as follows "to make some study references on my favourite lighting/shadow setups". And I did it. I didn't worry about being the best, or grinding, or thinking too hard, I simply set out to follow my intention, and made me some mappings of some lighting schemes I really like, which I can keep in my personal reference library forever. That's it. Now I have those lighting shapes to look at and refer to whenever I need them for a piece.I did something similar with compositions recently; I ended up making a bunch of guidelines for me to reconstruct and frame some compositions that I like.It can be that simple, so try my method out, just set an easy achievable target, keep your notes if it's a study, and keep building your knowledge piece by piece.By taking small actions in relatively short sessions, you can help your brain become familiar with the idea of victory. Too often, the struggle comes from having no clear intention, and no clear sense of accomplishment, which is why we're better off winning in small steps, than grinding on a piece for hours only to be unsatisfied.
I'm not blue, but I am green with envy. furthermore, I have a yellow streak down my back.

God this board is so negative and worthless, I don't know why I keep coming back to this shithole year in and year out. Bunch of fucking idiot retards making stupid meme threads all day, and in the one thread encouraging a positive mindset during study (that actually works, I can attest to it), the OP gets dogged on by social media poisoned AI brainrot zoomer faggot retards for using the English language instead of speaking in canned 4chan responses. This world needs to burn SOON.
thanks op i'll try implementing it

>>7832248Op here, you're welcome. I'm just sharing shit as I'm learning to help myself and help anyone else at the same time.
>>7832105Op here, I'm pretty sure it's that way on purpose. If I had to guess, some of the regulars here WANT people to fail. In their mind, they think they're killing potential future competition, or something like that. If not that, they're they just pure salt; thats another possible explanation.
