Why drawing on a tablet sucks so bad? It doesn't even compare to the feeling of drawing on paper. It's harder and so much less satisfying. Is there a way to fix this?
>>7833530Boomers are used to drawing on paper. Just accept it.
It will never be Exactly the same, but after enough practice, it feels natural to me. It's like a diferent medium, in a way - not worse, just different. If you want to get comfortable with it, just draw a lot, maybe try out some exercises to get your brain used to it.
>>7833530just hang in there. It gets easier
For me it's the opposite lol. I can't draw on paper after years of drawing on a tablet.
>>7833530Drawing on paper feels infinitely better, but it's not nearly as flexible.Drawing on Tablet feels lame by comparison, but the tools at your disposal make up for it, ctrl+z by itself is worth it.
>>7833530There are paper-like screen protectors
>>7833530skill issue, beg
wacom bro stop being a huion pleb
>>7833530yes, draw on paper, you dumb nigger
>>7833530Keep using tablet first month sucks the most then it will stop if you are new to this. If you are not then i guess it's not for you.
>>7833530A paper-textured screen protector makes it a little better, but it sucks either way (and the roughness of the screen protector can erode your stylus tip).
Tablet fucken sucks for lines, yeah. I mean I've gotten used to it over the years, but it's still drawing with a condom at the end of the day. Can't get the range of textural effects and marks you can get with a simple chisel-nibbed marker/pen/brush and digital tools only poorly simulate it.I wish I could solve this one pernicious issue because my productivity would skyrocket if I could, but as it stands it's easier and better for me to draw with physical media and then scan and clean up for digital finishing/rendering.
>>7833530Because it's cringe. Real artists draw with a mouse.
