So, like...how do you study anatomy? I'm not really sure I know what it means. Do you just like...draw it?
>>
Draw it and memorize it. That's literally it. You can delete the thread now

I've been reading books about drawing anatomy and it's just wall of texts so I either end up waking up hours later or find myself watching porn

Your abstraction is pretty crap and also inaccurate. Use someone else's like morpho.
>>
>>7834449
It's literally a traceover of morpho's on the right, retard. My "abstractions" are for me. I'm showing you it as an example, not telling you to copy me.
>>

Don't post such shit example or clueless begs will actually try to learn from you
>>

If you can't figure out what that image is suggesting (comparative study using real, stylized, and anatomical models), and you instead decide to literally copy it, then you're doomed anyway. I'm showing you what has helped me - it's specifically NOT copying that has worked.
>>
>>7834458
Well, it doesn't look like it has worked very well so far...
>>
>>7834462
My work's in the drawthread right now. I'll leave you to figure out if it's worked or not, or if it's better to trust a nitpicker instead. I don't care either way, nobody can help you but yourself in the end.

do you have anything specific you'd like to point out? his torso breakdown looks fine to me. I'm assuming you're just a bitter nodraw that hates seeing people actually drawing. you have nothing to actually contribute.

Have you got the general proportions of the human body down? No point in getting into the nitty gritty of human anatomy when you're still getting basic things wrong like the length of the arms.

As for studying that nitty gritty, I'd say just getting an anatomy book and going through it, making some studies as you go. The amount you need to study it is up to you though - Personally I'm not really wanting beyond what I learn in figure drawings books such as Loomis' fdfaiw, bit maybe I'll want to expand that knowledge further down the track?

I like to study stock Images. they have the best anatomy
>>

Draw it in different ways. Draw the bones as they look, then as cylinders, then maybe an abstract concept
