Remember how everyone was screaming and spamming about bluesky.

I meant more about spamming everywhere that they are moving to bluesky and everyone should go there.
Just make your own artblog or some shit

Twitter fags are the biggest trend hopping idiots out there. It's all just addiction to likes and retweets.

completely wrong question. You are basically asking
>why are artists passionate about art
The answer to the question you actually meant to ask is: negative polarization
>>
it's funny that the only thing that makes ai worthy in the eyes of commoners is its ability to generate slop, so greedy corpos and other pajeets will try to squeeze this opportunity and therefore hurt average digital artist
>>
>>7838195
If they were passionate they would just draw.
People are too addicted to likes and retweets and patreon bucks, it's the only reason a lot of them draw.
It's like if it's not on social media or posted somewhere else it's not worth it.

I agree with the sentiment but nips and libs are so gay they make everything worse
I think Elon is a retarded technocrat with no soul who will burn in hell (he's done some good things too, only redditors would deny that), the problem is that you can't stop AI at this point, and artists are not fighting this the right way, you thing pozzed tranny shitholes lile bluesky are better? You can't escape the flood
We need laws against AI, but we needed them 3 years ago
Organize and make this a political movement
But nobody cares lest be honest, the music industry is powerful so they will find the way to regulate AI, but the art and animatiom industry is cucked to death so sadly there's nothing we can do about it

How can you prove your artwork is authentic in the world of AI slop? Every method I could imagine has been compromised.

>WIPs
Pretty easy to fake. Just trace and work backwards.

>Timelapses
Some apps like Procreate let you hide reference layers, and it's known that prompters will take advantage of that to hide the fact that they're tracing over AI slop.

>Traditional
Even that isn't a guarantee since prompters have now been printing out their AI slop and tracing over it on paper.

So what's left? Filming yourself drawing? Showing your entire file system? Is this an unwinnable arms race?

timelapses are pretty much the best option if you care about this autistic shit
then again the most logical course of action as an artist right now would be to make your artstyle as distinguishable from ai as possible and there are obvious heuristics for achieving this that I won't share for obvious reasons
honestly I envy people wanting to become artists right now, the tables are turning and people with already established styles and bad habits will have a harder way of adjusting to the changing landscape
it really is just photography 2.0 and much like every portrait shop went out of business back in those days so will a lot of people now have to switch up their game to even dream of making some sort of income off this art thing
>>
>>7838672
it's obvious when something is traced

>>
>>7838672
The same way you prove it's not traced, ignore the guy and if he does it again tell him to go fuck himself.

If one guy says it's AI, he's a schizo.
Two guys, it's the first guy and his alt account.
three and more, you're probably actually tracing.

>>Traditional
>Even that isn't a guarantee since prompters have now been printing out their AI slop and tracing over it on paper.
the barrier to entry is too high with the amount of work it would take to fraud a trad piece, a prompter may as well just draw
>prompt
> go buy all the materials like pens, markers, paper, brushes, paints, printer and scanner
>don't forget the lightbox
>ready to trace lineart
>have to spend hours to ink and color the finished piece anyways
>suddenly all the advantages of ai corner cutting are gone
>>
>>7838633
>the music industry is powerful
Anon, the powerful people in the the are using AI they don't care about the average musician without a name. And the artists making enough money from their music to sustain their lifestyle are less than 1%, they are doing worse than the average coomer artist on twitter
>>

Just make something good that can make a lasting impression
>>
>>7838041

>>
>>7838696
It's obvious when someone who hasn't drawn much that traces. Like miraculously getting the correct pose and drawing characters with clothing without construction.
But artists who have drawn a lot will typically just draw over loosely just for the general shape and then continue drawing without the traced layer visible. Bit like drawing over 3d models.
>>
>>7838742
>suddenly all the AI cutting corner benefits is gone
You do get to cut about 1-2 hours of construction or the first draft/sketches.

Not with the edit feature, simply screenshoting it or saving a frame will still work with any other ai edit page or photoshop or anything like before.
It's another case of Twitter users living in a bubble
>>
>>7839413
are you retarded? This is the case of ease of access being cut, just doing that alone is too much effort for most shitposters you retarded fuck.

>>
>>7840435
Obvously, but that's not the comparsion here.
bluesky is supposed to be the twitter "alternative", so what's the point if nobody uses it.
>>
>>7838672
One day ai will be able to fake timelapses well, it can already kinda do it..

But there is nothing to WIN here. People who are into art will still be into art, ai just exposed just how many people do not give a fk about art in the first place, just look at how many followers ai art accounts have.

That said I do think artist alleys will pop the fk off. Not only are the anime, gaming communities exploding but its one of the only places where they verify real artists - depending on the convention ofc - but its in their best intention to do so since organizers will otherwise face backlash.

tldr - table at conventions - internet is dead, you posting images online is literally feeding the ai with more data
>>
>>7840440
thats why elon got twitter. Is not the tech, is the userbase he bought.
Anyway fuck both twitter and bluesky.
>>

>How can you prove your artwork is authentic in the world of AI slop?
Why do you give a shit? None of the children you're desperate to "prove" things to care, or are going to give you money.
Just make whatever you want to do however you want to do it, and let others do the same.
>>
>>7840539
Exactly, the people who go on ai witch hunts never cared about your art to begin with.
>>
Some japs I follow tweeted that the X algo keeps burying comiket posts and announcements so unless you follow some particular artists you won't know anything. The site keeps sinking further down the pajeet national delicacy.
>>
>>7840582
You can just search for the comiket hashtag. And if you want any specific artist you would obviosuly look at their account
>>
>>7839413
So it does work
>>
I wish artists would make a mass exodus from Twitter like back when people gave a shit about tumblr. Like that but less gay
>>
>>7840539
>let others do the same
I will once this shit gets regulated and becomes opt-in
>>
>>7838520
Clearly the solution is to fuck up your own art with AI countermeasures in advance. Very passionate.
>>
>>7840588
This. I hate the muh algo arguments, like if I want to see if someone made new stuff I'll go look at their posts. Don't rely on the system to feed you

>all those efforts in collecting datasets, pruning tags, thousands of hours in training slop
>all these amount of processing powers and burning down rainforest...
>to create fake timelapses to impress random xitters for a hot 3 seconds
>and then gets called out by rabid anti-AIfags
If this isn't insanity I dont know what it is. I pity anyone training and sharing models for free.
