Does anybody own this and if they do, is it any good?
>>7838331It sucks and that's why no one talks about it anymore. /beg/s thought it'd be the final key to drawing but it was beyond useless
>>7838331it's a massive meme, basically animu tropes masquerading as anatomy
>>7838332Damn, and I was considering buying it too.
>>7838334Any good alternative recommendations?
>>7838331Probably one of the best anatomy books out there lel
>>7838331You don't need to buy ithttps://e-hentai.org/g/3015112/47cdea394d/
>>7838331I have it and like it very much, it's a good compendium but the (english) 1st edition is riddled with spelling mistakes and some mislabeling of bones/muscles, you have to pay a bit of attention
>>7838343bridgeman
I studied the ecorché illustrations in the final pages pretty extensively when it came out. He goes through starting from the skelly and layers on the muscles, it's really pretty remarkable for visualization. I literally never saved anything else, it's just cornball-ass "anatomy can be fun!!!" Loomis-type crap besides just those few pages.
>>7838331noanatomy for sculptors is better (it doesn't have stupid joke drawings and gook cope, it's literally just anatomy) if you have autism hampton and if you even have even more autism bridgemanthere are more obviously but can't remember their names
>morpho books>anatomy for sculptors>bridgeman (difficult however)likely all you really need. just because it's by kdrama nipnong chingchong bobatea instead of totally normal english dudeman doesn't mean it's bettereven pic related is likely better despite not being an "artbook" (actually used and recommended by a reputable animator)
>>7838331Yes, I bought the first edition and it's one of my favorite books. It doesn't just show you musculature and tell you "this goes here" it talks more about things like range of motion, why and how things work the way they do.
>>7838376Thanks, anon!
>>7838395Koreans are cheap bastards. They probably used MTL and thirdworlders to tranaslate it. Same like coloso.
>>7838376>pictures instead of scansOh I think I know this anon lol. Fun to see this in the wild, total sweetheart
>>7838331They say it's racist
>>7839996They say the same about Loomis. The choice is yours, you can use the resources available to get good or try to find details in stuff to stir up drama to distract yourself from the things you are putting off. Years will go by fast and pointing fingers and moralizing will still make you feel regret when a decade has passed and you didn't improve in the things you care about.
>>7838331how is this bad if it shows me how to make a cute asian pirate wtf?
>>7838331An excellent book for learning and understanding anatomy; it was one of the few books that held my attention from beginning to end.Troons seethe about it because he says men and women are not biologically the same and people from different continents have different features.
