>>7840546No, easily one of the most useless websites ou there
>>7840546>Are you going to use it again for references?I've been using it. I just haven't used the AI ones.
>>7840546Fuck off, kindly.
>>7840546>You should!Pinterest is garbage and I don't care about what it added. Buy an ad.
>>7840546I use Pinterest everyday. It changed my life!
>>7840556>reflexively says the gayest passive aggressive shit:>buy an adwhy would they give a shit about some niche imageboard.
>>7840562Passive aggressive is what you call the schoolyard taunts you're doing with your green arrows. At least learn the vocabulary if you're trying to do a zinger.
>>7840567>blah balh blahnigger, my main issue is what do you and any other faggot fucking mean by telling off someone to "buy an ad"? literally the lamest thought terminating phrase I see relatively often
>>7840546that shit has been a thing for a while now and even with the ai shit turned off i still hate pinterest and occasionally get ai trash thrown in my face
>>7840574What do you mean what do I mean? The OP's post is clearly written like an ad, hence the snarky remark. You say "lamest thought terminating phrase", as if this was something deep to discuss, and as if this was a venue for that sort of discussion. And in case you're going to ask "why snarky remark", I'm going to preemptively answer: because my shoulder hurts and it's Sunday, and I don't like advertising cadence. Sorry if it offended you.
>>7840546so many slop doesn't have that label so it's useless. i bet they're using ai to auto detect and label images too. there's no way they'll spend money on human workers to manually sift through countless images.
You have to be visually retarded and tasteless to get shown a lot of AI on Pinterest. The website is uncannily good at recommending similar types of images, so if you're seeing a lot of AI, it's because you're clicking on a lot of AI. It seems to be a special problem with animefags and gooners, who can't discern quality as soon as they see Pretty Girl. It's worth noting Pinterest also mislabels real images as AI all the time, so you're throwing out some of the baby, so to speak, by not just having some common sense and good eyes.
>>7840665Please refrain from calling names. You will get a reduction pay for that. Next time you are fired. We expect an apology from you shortly.
>>7840546pinterest has been useless garbage for years, fuck off, nigger, the jeets can have it
>>7840546That's a great feature. Why don't more sites have it?>>7840549What's wrong with Pinterest. Its pretty good. Although the images are usually not the best quality resolution.
>>7840546> You should! Pinterest has more problems than just AI,>AlgorithmServing up the same slop to artists everywhere and we all draw the best looking one leading to seeing the same studies every where>Search resultsPinterest tends to show you 5-10 results of what you searched for then default to showing you the same 10 images they're showing you on their home page unrelated to what you searched for>AdsI use Ublock Origin on my computer and had to manually go in and block ads so idk how much of a problem it is on PC, but if you use the app you are concidered lucky to get 4 images before you see an ad, also if you're doing a quick study during your lunch break it's quite distracting to see a muted video in the corner of your eye while trying to draw an image. Also like everyone here said, we've used that feature and still get served AI, it's far from perfect. So if you're honestly a shill for the company take those into consideration while glazing them.
so, is there any good alternative? I tried using cosmos, but it's somehow even more gay
wikimedia commons has a search feature that's good for reference material brother, and no ai slop in sight dude
>>7840815lol
>>7840815HH brother
>>7840546It's broken, btw. It blocks a lot of genuine art and doesn't block a lot of ai slop.On the other hand, pinterest has always been dogshit.
>>7840751The reason why they dont implement the feature is because the companies themselves have invested heavily into ai. Features like this tell investors that their massive investments arent working out leading to less future investment. Adding this feature is the same as admitting defeat. Ai must have to have preformed very poorly for them to work counter to their own future goals since they have to prioratize profit over everything.
>>7840546>Are you going to use itNo. I don't hate pinterest for the AI images. I hate it for clogging up search results and making it cumbersome to find sources.
>>7840815Thank you HH
>>7840546>pinterest will delete your account even if you don“t have nsfw content, just one false flag waved by their retarded algorithm and you could lose a library of useful refs>reference appNeedless to say, this app was made by foids and for foids (bought by fuckerberg)
>>7840815Oh wow, I was there!I remember is thinking how much I hate pokemon but my grandfather thought it would be a treat to go to this shitty event in Bryant park while he worked and my mother would pick me up eventually.>was by myself>didn't have the game at the time to fill my pokedex>didn't understand anything that was really going on>Collected stamps and got the "secret stamp">one kid asked me where the secret stamp was I told him and asked if he wanted to find the rest together >he plainly said "no">There was a fat and skinny Jessie cosplayer walking around>and for some reason Hulk Hogan was thereI think I stopped playing pokemon after that.
>>7840546never used pintrest because I'm not interested in tiny 400x300 images
>>7840546>Are you going to use it again for references?I never stopped...
>>7842308I received one of those a while back, but didn't get it. Did they believe that I posted it? Is it against guidelines to save a pin? If that's the case idk how they're still in business.
>>7842539Idk how they check. Beyond someone passing through reporting it's anyone's guess. One speculation is that after it's uploaded it gets flagged but nothing is done until it is saved/someone else reports on it.Pic related btw is one that had an "Adult Content" violation but was reinstated, can't remember if I appealed or not. Also the comments on this one are most going crazy over her age while in this pose and the way she's clothed....
>>7842308jfl and you didn't get your account suspended? I got it suspended and lost a library worth of refs, it's incredible how nerve wracking normie platforms can be>>7842539>>7842643I don't get it either, I had a private account yet pinterest deleted it.Do you know why this happens?it's because of women being in the internet, basically they have instated censorship
>>7840751>Why dont more sites have itArtstation has itPixiv has itDA has itEven fucking R34 has it, only Xwitter does not have it. Why do artists still use Twitter when its so dogshit with no gallery search and no anti-AI features? Because the only thing that matters is network effect, and because BigTech knows this they are free to do as much enshittification as they can because you cant move away.
>>7840546I never stopped, even with all the aitrash it's better than the other aggregators that have like three fucking pictures each.
>>7842853Because artists don't buy art. And twitter is the only one of those that's not 99.9 artists shilling their shit to people who will never buy.
>>7840546havent seen a shill so pathticly unsubtle. Is this the best they could come up with?
>>7842643that hip area is a lesson in tangents
>>7841011The people adding these features are actually trying to save the companies by deplatforming this shit before the real backlash starts.AItards promised Skynet and all we have is a slightly stronger version of the 1998 deamscape vaporware. They can keep lying to their shareholders and the public about how powerful and beloved their tech is, but they can't lie to the money lenders when they come asking for their money back.
