>>7842012Great body language. Despite the simplicity, the position and shape of the eyes capture the correct gaze, therefor imbuing the subject with a mind and soul. The overlap of the neck over the head contour and the placement of the mouth are subtle but important nods to perspective and foreshortening, respecting the orientation of the subject. The paper and the pencil reinforce the story, although I would change the location of the pencil to better utilize the negative space in the lower right corner.
