So 3D tracing is okay if you are Japanese is that correct /ic/
>>
>>7844696
Its okay when japan does it
>>
>>7844696
Yes and as long as you draw crazy stories and big tiddies.
That said Oku is or at least was a really good artist during Gantz, especially some of the alien design and fight choreo.

tracing a grey 3d mannequin that you pose yourself is not the same as tracing a photo you made yourself, which in turn is not the same as tracing someone else's photo or work without permission.
context, value-add, and respect for source material is everything. you're only cheating yourself out of exercise when you trace a reference you made, verses cheating a fellow artist out of recognition and money when you trace their work.
tldr being japanese has nothing to do with it, you baiting fucker.
a reasonable person would be able to determine when tracing is bad, but i can understand if your rabid autism prevents you from being reasonable.

you didn't even read my post. bot reply, unironically.

Yeah, it's okay if you make a fucking entertaining comic. If you're just doing it to spam low quality fotm/coom/meme content to gain clout on twitter then act like a persecuted jew when you get called out, you're gonna get clowned on eternally
>>

Oku has always been a doujinshi/hentai dude at heart, and never has claimed to be otherwise. He's basically a socially functional Masamune Shirow. The difference between them is that he didn't have a bumbling retard making a movie about one of his works which tried to be more than what it was.

>God.
which god, the foreskin eating jewish wind spirit?
>>
He's not tracing over copyrighted material or acting like he drew everything by hand. He openly talks about using 3D. He's honest about the process unlike some other artists.
What are you seething about?
>>
>>7844728
Yes and so we and everything are his original design.
>>
>>7844696
what makes you think anybody thinks it's okay when Gantz does it? Gantz looks horrible.
That said I'm willing to give it some leeway because it was doing it before 3d software was barely even a consumer product. It was ahead of the curve there.
It's also a little different when you're talking about a comic, a medium where the artwork is just a part of the package rather than the complete work like in illustration.
>>
Gantz has one of the ugliest art ever.

Did you call Mamoru Oshii a bumbling retard lmao? C'mon man, way too contrairian.

Just make it look good and no one will care

Were you dropped on the head as a baby?

if a dog shits in your front yard, you'd be mad, but your understand, its just an animal
if your kid shits in the front yard, you'd be mad, because you expect more from your kid than a dog.

japs are'nt people, they aren't even dogs, they're one of the lowest existences in the universe.
so obviously, we dont care what methods they use to survive, but you, anon, YOU are human, you must be held to a higher standard than a nip.
even chinks are closer to humanity than gooks.

remember anon, with great humanity comes greater responsibility.

dont shit in the front yard.

the difference between mastering art and mastering an industry is in its application.

a master craftsman will use every tool possible to make a coin.
a master artisan can use any tool to express their point.

the ability is what defines a man, and creates a distinction between man, beast and demon.

>cheating a fellow artist out of recognition and money
Their failure to market themselves effectively is not my problem.
>>
>>7844696
3D is always okay
>>
>>7844696
Araki does it so yeah its probably cool
>>
>>7846528
what is this

what I'm more interested is how to get my lines looking soft like that. Everything I draw on digital is too crisp and black. Like when I use black brushes on a white background, its blinding. But in this picture it looks good.
>>
>>7851771
create noise
>>
>>7851772
how? Just put a fake filter on everything at the end?
>>
>>7851771
Despite being digitally drawn, this is a scan from a printed book. Print your lines out and then scan them.
>>
>>7851773
just save in jpg and lower the quality

Western trannies always seething because they're from the glorious nihon

Tracing is okay now that AI shit is flooding the internet. There, I said it. Feel free to seethe. I’m going to start tracing too because it’s easier and faster, and people will forgive my laziness as long as I don’t use AI.
>>
If your 3d trace looks like that sure
Does it?
