Is there anywhere else besides Twitter that’s good for posting art? My end goal is to form a sizeable yet niche audience base who may just throw money my way one day, though money is not the main goal. It seems like every alternative is either completely dead, filled with kids, or isn’t particularly privy to free speech (without being heavily populated by paraphiles and extremists).I’ve considered posting to places like Misskey before but then again, a lot of my artwork is (western) cartoons and somewhat fandom-adjacent. I don’t think many Japanese people are interested in seeing that. Amplify that by the language barrier and it just seems non-ideal to post there as an English speaker.Any real answers or suggestions to this question is greatly appreciated in advance. Thank you.
Try Newgrounds. Sounds like you'd fit in.
>>7846627Why should I tell you lol? Also learn Japanese. Comission is a gaijin thing though.
>>7846627Just twitter and insta. picarto if you are good 'ispos
>>7846646>picartoEr, why is everything furry? I just checked it.>'isposWhat does this mean?
DeviantArt, Pixiv, Twitter, Instagram, NewGrounds, Tumblr and also make yourself an E-Hentai gallery for those who don't want to sign up for site to see your stuff
>>7846649shitty esl way of saying i suppose o algo>why is everything furry? I just checked it.pic related
It takes one minute to sign up and maybe ten seconds per upload. Post everywhere.
Now that Venezuela is kill, where am I and hordes of refugees gonna post my art?
>my goal is to be like the other million artists on twitter...>but twitter is filled with a million artists, what's a good site with an untouched audience that I could tap into by being the first there?Maybe you should kill yourself, you haven't even posted your art out of fear of rejection here, why woud it be different in any other site (including twitter)
>>7846642skeb exists doe
>>7847049Holy bitter. Maybe spend more time drawing instead of assuming the worst.
>>7846627>Is there anywhere else besides Twitter that’s good for posting art?TikTok and Instagram are all better platforms than Xitter for artists. Pinterest is also a decent one depending on your niche/interests.
>>7848412>TikTok and Instagram are all better platforms than Xitter for artists.Really? It feels like instagram has been totally dead for artists lately and Tiktok is full of the most obnoxiously annoying people on the planet. I use both pretty frequently but never to post art.
>>7849540>It feels like instagram has been totally dead for artists latelyIn what sense? Did you follow any? Instagram keeps showing me this bullshit even if I'm not subscribed to them. They seem to get views and comments just fine. I think you just don't like art. And the algorithm knows it.

There still isn't anything better than TwitAlso >>7847049
You should consider posting your drawings on Reddit when applicable, whenever some bot posts mine there it gets way more attention than I did on other platforms.
>>7853293the anon can't do that, cause retarded powertripping jannies. A lot of sub-plebbits there have a rule where artist can't post their art on there or they get muted/banned.
>>7853375Good, I fucking hate shit deviantart-tier "art" polluting my subreddits.
>>7853379I get you're retarded, but someone else post that same art. Nothing happens, but when the og artist post it, they get muted/banned.
>>7853384Good.
>>7853375Yeah but also a ton of them will let you do it with some caveat or another (no linking your socials/no saying it's you even if it's obvious/saying you take comms is an instant IP ban, etc)I don't know what OP draws but that's worth checking at least. Take the dunmeshi sub, for example, since that's what he opened with, the rules are worded in such a way that the janny can come to your house and shove his meaty girlcock in your eye socket if xir feels like it but they don't explicitly ban posting your own shit and a few posts are exactly that..
