What are some good drawing exercises to gain a boost in confidence? I really need one of those to get going
Surface anatomy for the artist.
Baumkuchen (named after a German cake.) You draw the innermost and outermost rings first and then fill it with evenly spaced rings as shown in the 'good' example. This is what they drill new animators with in Japan.
