I'm not sure if I'd call it beg, but it lacks appeal.
It looks cheap and tacky, and like the kind of drawing I'd find lame even as a child.

Assuming it's intended for animation, then perhaps it looks great while moving (which does happen, and does improve the look of things), so I can't give my full verdict on it.

Abstract drawing = you are beg
(although for animation it is understandable to make it very simple)

Holy shit. I remember this.
We bought these chocolate cakes during a vacation in italy and there was a toy figurine of the purple guy inside. When you'd touch a button, he'd shine a little light on the floor with a diamond shaped symbol in it.

for artwork, yes, it lacks shading and line weight (which actually looking at this thing they did add just not in the designs)

my only critique as an animator myself is the designs are too complex for a low budget animation. Stylistically it's nice but looking at the final product it looks like they put all their money into background art and had none left for good animation
