Will 3d sculpting help me with drawing?
>>7856419>>7856419I bought a jointed doll for 8 bucksIt's like a cheat for perspective issues
>>7856419it's literally dynamic sketching but in 3d.
>>7856419I dont think 3D specifically would help cause even if you build the perfect 3D model in a computer software you can only ever see a 2D image represented on your screen. The big filter that studying from 2D images is that you are trying to derive depth from a flat image and unless you already have built confidence in your drawings skills and have a good foundation you'll find studying from a 2D image on your screen can be quite frustratingNow ACTUAL sculpting with clay or whatever is better.
>>7856704>The big filter that studying from 2D images is that you are trying to derive depth from a flat imageYeah that's pretty difficult if you don't have a brain that processes visual information. Good thing most humans have developed such a capacity. Which planet are you from?
>>7856709The one where they teach actually teach you how to draw and not the one where your from which seems to be filled with subhuman crabs
>>7856738Oh okay, next time don't forget to salt my fries please and thank you.
>>7856709I actually have major problem with this, I can copy well but as soon as I rotate the figure the previous image just disappears from my memory and I won't be able to recreate it. How to fix this issue?
>>7856794Can you solve this?
>>7856838This utterly breaks my brain, it feels like a hard wall just gets thrown up when I try to solve it and I stall.
>>7856844Time to see a doctor, maybe you have brain damage or a tumour or something.
>>7856838E?
>>7856845I can't see or imagine the next rotation for better way to describe it.
>>7856838Dlook at the angle of the triangle in the middle
>>7856844>>7856851It's D. Each image is the previous one rotated 90 degrees ccw.
>>7856862Is this something that can be trained or do I just not have the jeans?
>>7856864Were you unable to imagine it being rotated? Or did you fall into the trap of thinking it was rotated in 3D space? I think this problem was meant to confuse people because it presents a 3D shape but doesn't perform any 3D transformations.
>>7856867Fuck I was trying to rotate it in 3D space mentally. I got bamboozled then?
>>7856838d?
>>7856870YesI too created a mental image of it and tried to rotate itThe picosecond I saw the second pic I understood that this isn't truly "rotated" there's no "3d rotation of a 3d shape", it's actually a stupid 2d rotationThis is a fucking beg trap
>>7856704jesus fucking christ this board is fucking cooked, burnt to the crisphttps://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4901450/
>>7857049damn
>>7857056Holy fuck none of you motherfuckers cant even conceive of a time where you were once a fucking /beg/. Images and 3D models are a fucking CRUTCH, not a substitute for the real fucking thing. Like literally one of the most reposted /ic/ memes is the one where a fucking beg literally traced from a 3D model and /ic/ called his work fucking trash and the cope was 'NOOOOOOOOOO ITS FROM AN ACTUAL 3D MODEL SO YOU GUYS ARE ACTUALLY THE PERMABEGS". Jesus christ what you want me to draw 100 fucking boxes too? Fuck off crab
>>7857172god, i wanna try sculpting so bad, but i just don't have time
>>7856419No, but 2D drawing will help you with 3D.
>>7857172why the fuck are you having a meltdown right now? why are you making this giant leap that "me sculpt===me trace 3d"? literally NOBODY mentioned this before you.
>>7857049wow what a garbage troll test
>>7857049Fuck me sideways
>>7857174Just go into blender and fuck around with the sculpting brushes. Add clay strips for volume and carve out shit
>>7857357unfortunately i'm a wagie, so it's either time for art or sculpting :ci plan on doing NSFW stuff, doe
>>7857358So you don't have time to draw, but are considering 2-3 year creative detour of 3d sculpting?
>>7857649ye... kinda... i mean, sculpting looks so fucking awesomehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkueS09XEFEbut, the plan is to start NSFW soon and quit my job if possible
>>7857932(and start sculpting)
>>7856419People should just accept that life is not equal so people are going to get by with tracing models and ai.
