If you want blending, use oils, thats it.
Acrylic is a graphic medium, if you want hard edges, flat colors and so on use it, otherwise you are wasting your time.

I use golden open acrylics, they are like a perfect hybrid between oil and acrylic. Have all the benefits of both really, still enough time to work in and take your time but don’t take 2 weeks to dry on the canvas
