A 12 year old made this 500 years ago. What is your excuse?
>>7859537I am not twelve
>>7859537when I was 12 I was drawing saint goku
>>7859537I'm not 12
>>7859537there simply isn't any pressure usually to learn to draw but is usually discouraged.Look at music on the other hand, since it's prestigious they torture kids since they 4 to learn to play, so you end up having plenty little kids that play at basically a professional level before they even hit 12.You never see this in drawing
He's literally me
Literally me
>>7859537The only thing this has over me is that they know how to paint. This is some absolute booty in every way, composition, color choice, perspective, proportion, and, while it definitely has soul, it doesn't fucking look good.
>>7859537he lived surrounded by people like him and was guaranteed family, community, safety, a wife, a purpose, god, and a place in society. Meanwhile I'm living through the collapse of everything while competing with third worlders for scraps of attention and pennies.
>>7859537Back then if he failed to learn his entire family will get executed or burn to a torch
>>7859537You know, these entities all those old dead guys drew must have some truth to it. It can't be just their version of Marvel super heroes.
>>7859537I wasn't born 500 years ago.>>7861187While I think we're more privileged than ever, and it'd actually suck to go back 500 years, I think society and community was so much better and supportive back then. A business would hire you because you were the local boy who needed a job, and it'd support the local area - now a business will use an AI to flush out all his fellow countrymen candidates because he doesn't want to pay a higher wage and hire a third worlder to work for cheap, thus not only impoverishing the unemployed boy, but impoverishing his country by sending money outside the country.Same is true for just hiring a foreigner inside the country, since they're often sending their pay outside of the country too.Businesses no longer give a fuck about the culture and country that raised them into the behemoths they've become; Amazon certainly doesn't give a fuck about America, that's for sure.Society and culture is being murdered by Corporate Greed.
>>7861187He didn't have a wife or any romantic relationships (beyond writing poems and letters). Maybe that was to his advantage. When John Flaxman Sir Joshua Reynolds (President of the Royal Academy) that he'd just been married, Reynolds is said to have told him, "Oh, then you are ruined for an artist!" That wasn't actually the case for Flaxman, because his wife was supportive of his career (also, they didn't have any kids).
>>7861370correction: When Joh Flaxman TOLD Sir Joshua Reynolds...
>MFW finding out a 12 year old made that
>>7861360>While I think we're more privileged than ever, and it'd actually suck to go back 500 yearsthe only benefit we have now is instant communication with people we don't like. You'd still have family 500 years ago, and health is not a problem because people in the past dont know about the tech we have now. Wht you don't know can't be used to judge the quality of your life, otherwise you have to concede that the times we live in are shit because in 500 years they will achieve world peace and UBI.
>>7861468White people are just different. There are 14 year olds leading armies and 7 year olds becoming Kings.
