I'm learning about timing charts right now, but I'm confused of their actual purpose, is it just a production thing for if you hand off your animation to someone else? I can animate without timing charts at all so it just seems like an unnecessary extra stephttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSJ5lT_ma-E
>>7872835> https://youtu.be/Mok9c8EVCZo?si=-0NkBdqnCrlXnqogI saw Velvet’s clothes rip off in the video lol, you could probably reanimate whatever that was & it would look better than the original. (you don’t have to tho)

Figure Practice but Animated
So like what happens to animation with seedance now
>>7879984nothing burgerits gonna cost a shitload once the bubble bursts and the governments stop subsidizing these server complexes and their ridiculous electricity costIt'll turn into a niche thing and probably produce shitpost gold thoit will absolutely kill corporate studios and lead to the rise of independants
>>7879984I commented on this earlier but I deleted my post when I realized this is appealing to the sakuga crack steroid fight scene fag cancer that infected the anime space post covid. These "fans" haven't forgotten anime isn't just about that, they see anime as a TMNT Trigger light show and are bored of the slower pace, mellowness that anime also brings. So once again, AI is lowkey highlighting what normal populace likes, not what long time fans know what anime is like. And so, I'm not worried. With that said, there are some impressive stuff I saw I'm not gonna sit here and lie about that.
>>7879988>it will absolutely kill corporate studios and lead to the rise of independantsNo it won't, lmao, the average joe will not be able to afford it. Using this tech in a corporate setting>looking at you, Queen Beewould actually be an upgrade for them
>>7879989I think it's a bit optimistic when we know in terms of animation, anime studios in Japan or rather the IP holders will always look to cut costs. If generating and expensing less animators then it will happen. This is why these IP holders probably aren't saying anything when they're normally anal about copyright and striking down anything usually. They probably see a way to make even more money hiring less. Also doesn't help that the average consumer doesn't care at all as long as they get what they want cheap, fast, and with quality. Which if your models are trained off of all the data of the best animations in the world you get all 3 aspects.
>>7879993>Seedance Pro (1080p, 5-6 sec): Approximately 370–400 credits per video generation.>36000 credits per year on the basic plan>90 times 6 seconds = 9 minutes of an "anime"with the premium plan being about double the credits and most people aren't paying for the advanced plan I'm sure. There's probably an enterprise plan somewhere maybe but at that point what would be the point? The Japanese would just draw it themselves. So yes, nothingburger.
>>7879999Is there a reason why these model subscriptions have hard limits like credits? Or is it just a mirage to recoup the costs. Im sure there are cheaper models out there for studios to use to fire animators and do it cheaper
>>7879998I can see it shave off some work, but I'm not seeing it replace workers entirely at the moment.>>7880001because their data centers of great satan use up too much energy
>>7880001>why these model subscriptions have hard limits like credits?its retardedly cost heavythey havent produced a purpose built contraption for animation but rather built a mystery blackbox that 99% of their own coders prolly dont understand the inner workings ofIt'd be like the wright brothers promising the SR-71 blackbird jet to the government while only having the kittyhawk in their garage after getting trillions in fundingthe AI companies haven't produced a net profit onceeven the big government propoganda arm can only prop up a sinking ship for so long in hopes of a miracleat most some retard will leak the code and a fre-source version will be widely available to anyone with a server stack Similar to what blender is nowThe AIfags will have to downscale and specialize the software into a tool for animators instad of an outright replacement if they ever hope to turn up a commercial profit
>>7880020to add to this point the human brain still remains the most cost effective computor in the universe and while silicon beast might try they can never truly imitate god's perfectionWe were built in God's image not the silicon satanIt'll take just one recession for ai models to no longer be feasable at all

>>7891789There's also the sachiko kamimura one, but generally isn't summarizing things into equation more effective; even computers does so. In my case the equation must not be too complex though, so just assume a very old pentium 3 calculator trying it out as genuine as possible, but still need less processing power.

is there any tutorial on how to do transformation like Sailormoon, Precure etc? my initial idea was- draft the full transformation poses- separate it between repetitive poses over in between action poses- merge them together- colors and special effects- filtersis there something else missing?
>>7892460Only the Gods at Toei know how to do that. If you can’t match their quality standard your attempt will look like a cheap outdated gimmick or a gag hentai transformation scene. They’ve raised the bar too much.

>>7894387the idea is really nice but I do not like the keys you used for the kick, there's very little impact. My best guess is because for optimal power footballers actually step ahead of the ball and scoop it forward with the foot, but with your keys the ball impacts the foot after the apex of the kick swing arc, not not before like is typical, this leaves very little time for the impact to resolve. This same idea interacts with which frames of the action to include, Pic related. My best guess without sketching it myself would be three keys as follows. >Pre-kick wind up. >Mid Kick 'scoop', foot and ball together past the apex. >Post kick 'snap'. Leg full length, ball flys off.
>>7893568the line thickness difference between the body/head reallly itches me>>7894298the head should turn opposing the chest's directionthe human neck tends to reflexively counterbalance and upper torso's movements to stabilize visionapply that to it i feel it'll add much more life to the the strecthing movement>>7894299i adore the stylized flameany specific animation you've referenced for the flame?i can't think of any show off the top of my head that had a similar stylized flame loop>>7894306uncanny valley>>7894368hehe nice smear frames very fluid very nice : DDD>>7894405solid advice >>7894387i'd recommend appplying ease-in and ease-out on the camera pan after the head settlescurrently you pan at an even pace which feels a bit robotictrust me adding the ease-in/out will add a lot to the loopalso great use of blackout impact frames very nice

What's the best way to go frame-by-frame on old 2d animated flicks? I like studying them
>>7896555download Avidemux and use this to go frame by frame foward and behind using the shortkeys.
been doing just small animations on krita. Still not used to using a pen and tablet, so mouse for half the stuff which isn't great. Got to figure out all the controls, layers, how frames work and meaning of when/how to animate. Been fun but also feel lost as to how to get 'better' without making further beginner mistakes and bad habitsAny advice?
>>7896626If you're not used to drawing digitally, you can also animate traditionally if you get a light table and some tracing paper.
