what do you think of this character design?
it‘s annoying. theres nowhere to rest your eyes on. its just a chaotic mess of shapes and colours.

not my cup of tea but it accomplished what it set out to do
>>7874405That's a little better than the original in the OP, that's for sure. I just think the design isn't very flexible for expression. It's more the sort of design you would see in 1950s and early 60s animated commercials where the characters could be highly abstract and symbolic to represent the products being sold or because they didn't need a wide range of emotions. The body is mostly fine for now. The tail works as a way to accent his posing. Because of that, the hair in the front and back feels like it's added on, I would get rid of it. Reduce the size of the eyes, but for certain expressions it could work to make them the size they are here, the eyes can bulge off the head a little. I don't know if those long shapes on the sides of his head are cat whiskers or cheek tufts, but it competes with the vertically-oriented shape of his head.Just try it out and see how you feel about it. Also try a few expressions, too. I'm actually curious to see how he would look from the side.
>>7874591Took a crack at it. I know these won’t be accurate to your character’s personality.
Just kidding, took two cracks at it.
