Considering how flat and toony your artstyle is, the shading could actually stand to be simplified, but hopefully someone more qualified than me though will either explain that better or tell you that I'm completely wrong. You should also take time to clean up your lineart and coloring a little more thoroughly too, as there are specks all over the drawing.
