People aren't going to stare at a single frame for several minutes noticing every little mistake. It's only really the keyframes that people will notice, everything else is there just to support the illusion of motion, and can be a little dodgy.And then when you look at a lot of modern animation and anime they employ a hundred different cheap tricks to avoid fully animating things the way the classics did. A character just standing there talking with their mouth going with two frames for minutes etc.The way Richard Williams teaches it is how to do it the hard way.
