Let's have a thread to discuss software like Rebelle, Expressi, Verve/Vervette, Realistic Paint Studio, etc that tries to simulate physical media. This was painted in Verve.
>>7879566does webbypaint/heavypaint count as tradigital?
>>7879804>>7879804Personally I wouldn't include it here. Those others imitate organic media through stuff like fluid physics. I also struggle to include Krita for the same reason, at the end of the day heavypaint is still a brush/stamp based thing like Photoshop. You can make convincing stuff in it but it's not the same type of software. Realistic paint studio also probably doesn't really belong here technically, I think it's also just really convincing.

>>7879566I absolutely hate the UI for verve.
>>7884525The next and "final" version is supposed to have a traditional UI. Or at least a better one.
>>7879566>tries to simulate physical media. This is so pathetic. Kill yourself.
>>7884655It's just a physics engine gramps calm down
Have anyone checked out OurPaint ?https://www.wellobserve.com/OurPaint/index_en.html i've been using it on and off, and it's a pretty robust painting program, only con I have is that it's a solo dev effort, but the dev's an autistic software + aeronautic engineer so there's probably a lot of effort going on in there.pic rel (not mine) was done on it.
here you begging faggot
