#RESISTAI
>>7880063Fag.
>>7880063One of the most embarrassing traits of autism is the expression of political disagreement via comics containing characters from popular media. This reminds me of several instances of this I saw in the past: Sonic the Hedgehog beating up an ICE agent, Chainsaw Man eating an ICE agent-themed creature, and a Sonic fan character protecting for Palestine's "freedom."
>>7880063The longer I live the more convinced I become that severe autismos need to be executed or institutionalized. They're simply incapable of acting human for any period of time
>>7880063>THE FICTIONAL CHARACTER AGREES WITH ME CHUD!
>>7880063>all that broken English >looks at the top >Christopher RUIZdeport.
>>7880063>all that broken English>*looks at the top*>Christopher RUIZdeport
it's joever for us, AI wins
Based as fuck. They're permabeg, they're cringe, they're probably retarded, but they still have the balls to try
>>7880075At least he drew (something /ic/ doesnt do), compared to chuds require grok to slop out their propaganda.
>>7880096try what.
>>7880063Cringe execution but how is it any worse than drawing generic anime slap number 1204152626 or yet another pointless concept art garbage? At least this one has actual meaning and tries to have an impact of the world
>>7880072it seems like you only notice (I believe you wouldn't try to deceive us by only mentioning) the instances where people from the other tribe do it
>>7880072old but gold
based deviantart children (mentally or literally) sticking it to the billionaire retards in the one way they know how:severe autism
>>7880072The worst is when they have children's cartoon characters do it;>Spongebob/steven universe/bluey says Trans rights!>>7880117You're welcome to complain about it from the other side. It's egregious either way.Though I haven't seen it on near the scale from the right as I have the left.Really, the right's version of this is complaining about how woke or unfuckable the female leads are in media. They'll point to a pretty attractive female character and act like her jaw is a perfect rectangle, and that she's built like a brickhouse - there are definitely complaints to be made about bad (leftist) political writing in media, and complaints to be made about bad character designs, but do they themselves need to be so political about the critiques? Just say the writing and designs are shit and move on.
>>7880063Says alot that these autist this board loves to points and laughs at still draw more and can unified together far better that /ic/.
>>7880063>cant draw well>worried about AIKwab imagine worrying about image gacha
People collectively realized that non-creatives are subhuman and can't create anything of worth even with a machine that can generate any image in any style. The only thing I see AI image/video generation used for is by those facebook and tiktok boomer bait pages that post like a video of two cats hugging and get like a billion likes, oh and companies now use AI to sloppify their content which honestly looks like shit and cheapens your brand immensely
>>7880063That's like the candle manufacturer saying resist light bulbsYou either adapt and use AI to your benefit or perish
>>7880107Make an attempt at the thing you're not doing and won't post
>ITT currycels have run out of arguments so badly, their last argument is "look at this autismo, they drew cringe!"
>>7880224I use it for some monster goon seshes. Grok is amazing at making fucked up raceplay with hard slurs and everything. Who knew? Anybody that masturbates should get over themselves and try it at least once. But after jacking off, I go back to drawing. It's a Fisher Price toy for making art.
>>7880063Looking back on this is like looking back on BLM protests over George Floyd.
>>7880063Art is an innate compulsion plus craft, so it's under no threat from AI. But what is the argument for mainstream consumers to reject AI in mass market products? Let's be honest, all of those cartoon characters are products.Consumers do not care about quality and cost alone. They care about the ratio between the two, i.e. value. Cost is the denominator, and AI could potentially push it to near zero, which would give us infinite value and increase the availability of these products to the masses, improving quality of life. What's the object argument against that for someone who just wants to consume?
>>7880260>infinite value>What's the object argument against that for someone who just wants to consume?Because there's no such thing as a free lunch. AI lobbyists have forgotten that. Did they ever know?Even the basest normalcattle will get fed up with slop after a point, because slop always carries its sinful mark. It might make a convincing beauty queen at a glance, but expose it under too much heat and the pig is revealed. I've toyed around with it and already I'm a little bored in under a week. It just becomes one of many things competing for your attention in a world oversaturated with addictive media & technology - except it's not particularly good outside its limited scope of porn and pretty girl illustration.Rich people get bored of swimming pools, expensive meals, and personal jet planes after a while for the same reason.
>>7880271Your argument is essentially that "AI will make us too full." Which I actually agree with. But that's not really an argument against AI, and it's definitely not an argument for #resistAI.If you believe AI will lose, then there's nothing you need to resist against. Just keep doing your thing.
>>7880282>Just keep doing your thing.I mean, I don't care about AI like that lol. I even use it a little. I just find it to be such a curiosity, such a silly little thing. The damage will come from idiot politicians not seeing it for what it is, rather than from the technology itself.
>>7880260>Consumers do not care about quality and cost alone. They care about the ratio between the two, i.e. value. Modern economics would reject this, people don't value things based on quality, they have subjective ordinal valuation of things, when making an exchange they compare the marginal utility of X thing vs the marginal utility of whatever they are trading, if the former is higher the exchange will be made, otherwise it wont>Cost is the denominator, and AI could potentially push it to near zero, which would give us infinite value and increase the availability of these products to the masses, improving quality of life.Cost is subjective, the marginal utility of $100 for a broke man is not the same as $100 for a billionaire. Value doesn't 'go to infinity' because utility is measured at the margin, you value the first unit of X good the highest, the second you value it lower, the third even lower, etc. >What's the object argument against that for someone who just wants to consume?Another basic economic fact is that economic goods are scarce, all the resources, labor, land, etc being used on AI propped up by investors could be used satisfying more urgent wants of consumers. In this sense the faster liquidation of AI companies happens, the faster capital reconfiguration can happen. This is speculation at this point but I'm quite sure AI companies have built overcapacity, they have no use for all the AI shit they are offering that's why they are trying to shove it everywhere without much success. The thing about economics is that everything is connected, while the consumer is not paying for the AI slop directly,AIcompanies charge other companies for API key, advertising, etc. That cost is 'baked in' the price of the product the consumer might end up buying, even if the consumer doenst buy from companies that advertise on AI everything is connected with everything else, and the companies the consumer does buy might be buying from companies that do use AI
>>7880254>he thinks there's any argument to be made
let the boomers kill their creations and make way for new stuff
>>7880072autism is one of few last pieces of good left on this planet. If someone is embarrassed by an autistic person being themselves, that person is evil. Art is about expressing yourself and thats what these deviantart artists are doing. If you think you're above them because you're self aware enough to lie, cheat and stea, then you are mistaken.
>>7880260AI does not reduce costs for the consumer, we are well past the point where technology makes things more accessible and cheaper. 99% of products in the first world are overpriced because they can be, that's it.If they invented a new shovel that digs up coal twice as fast, they can fire half their workers and buy new shovels for the remaining workforce and match or increase productivity. That money they saved not having to pay all those fired guys DOES NOT LEAD TO LOWER PRICES ON COAL. They just keep that as profit you idiot.
>>7880072I sincerely believe Sonic would help palestine out, it's in-character.
>>7880063the future is now old man
>>7880063The ones using AI are obviously worthless retards, the ones who need to be hated/killed are the ones making AI since they have skill but are willing to sell their souls for money
>>7881491making neural networks do random shit is fun don't cull us
>>7881491Most folks that does any model training has stopped doing so due to lack of interest. SDXL was the last open source model that's worth bothering and matured enough. The only new open model so far is Flux 2 and ZiT and they're not great performance-wise (slower to gen) and being new they also don't have as much tools to ise with them. So, the open source portion of image generation is pretty much dead-end.And closed models the only ones that's decent as photoshop alternative is Nanobanana Pro.AI is really not very self-sufficient in all things considered. Hobbyist stuff probably.
>>7880063you beat AI by making good art that people enjoy. that's the truth
Choose your character:>spams ai images all day>20 followersvs>uploads one drawing per week>90k followers and makes $900 on Patreon
>>7880314>I'm quite sure AI companies have built overcapacity, they have no use for all the AI shit they are offering that's why they are trying to shove it everywhere without much success. They have also socialized the costs while privatizing the profits. The socialization came first when they were afforded de facto special legal privileges to train their models on the works of artists without permission or compensation (i.e. to use the labor of artists to build a machine that would later threaten their livelihoods). Socialization happened a second time when the US government outright subsidized the AI companies with billions in research funding, tax incentives, infrastructure support and an executive order that aims to prevent states from regulating AI, so that AI companies can continue to operate with impunity. Nothing about AI is "free market" or organic; it's a massive transfer of wealth from, as usual, poor and middle class people to the super rich.
>>7881806>90k followers and makes $900 on PatreonA fantasy. Statistically very few porn artists make even that much (because I know you're talking about twitter porn), and they almost invariably have to be a workhorse to be getting it. I see pro level illustrators who do ecchi stuff and whose posts rack up 10k+ likes on the regular, and their Patreon is earning jackshit just because they didn't sell their soul drawing slop for idiot gooners. In fact if you want $900 on Patreon, you should just go for that immediately in whatever way you can. Mediocre dudes like FireZ got to that relatively quickly and he's unknown. AI slop isn't a bad way, though, if you can put up with it. I see AI accounts with tens of thousands of followers and I even see some making decent money.
>>7880063>tfw I'm an artist but enjoy using AI sometimesI get people being upset for losing their jobs, but as a hobbyist AI is nice from time to time.
>>7880165this was drawn by a cartoon obsessed tranny retard who raped kids tho
>>7880165>>7881917I'm not a retard...
>>7880063>A.I. not hooraywhat did esl mean by this
