My 6 years old drew this she wanted to post online she was so proud of positive feedback to tell her please
>>7884305Buy crayons for your kid dude its clear that she wants to fill the sky with blue but you cant do that with a small fucking pen nib
>>7884307Had to make due with one of those ink color pens my other is 3 and she makes it hard to keep crayons she is in the prowling and breaking stage
>>7884307But you know what your right will buy some tomorrow and put up
>>7884316>>7884318Then buy some of those fat markers with the bigger nubs like the Crayola ones
>>7884320Also if you buy her crayons you can rip off the paper its wrapped in and teach her she can use the whole crayon to cover a wide area
Also its a good sign that she draws those cats with the big eyes, she has a sense of cartooning. Not sure if drawing will be a thing she keeps doing but shes probably a smart kid
>>7884323didnt mean to write "properly" she is smart is what I meant to say anon
>>7884321I never think of that your right she is really into just creating in general making basic music drawing etc so it will be good to show her those small tricks
>>7884305Buy a stack of small spiral-bound sketchpads. I use 5.5 x 8.5 inches. Take one, decorate the front with her and put her name on it. May as well date it, too. Carry that, some pencils, a sharpener, and a decent eraser whenever you go out. Later, she can choose some attractive pens to go with it. Anytime you're out and in a situation where parents give their kids a phone, (airport, restaurant, waiting for some library event to start, etc.), out comes the sketchpad. Eventually, she'll have a small shoulder bag to tote this stuff herself, but for now just keep it in your own bag or pack, so it's not left behind at home.Years down the line, she'll be happy and confident drawing while her peers are glued to devices. That said, if my kids are waiting with friends, they either take turns drawing or I lend them my own pad.

>>7884305When i was seven or so i drew a picture of myself drowning and begging for my dad to help, i thought it was so fucked up and funny that i hung it on my wall, this is a recreation of what it looks like just with less despair
>>7884746Hey thanks. It has worked out pretty well for my two.
>>7884305I was going to make a ngmi joke but then I realized that you are actually parenting and letting your children have creative outlets, which seems to be a rarity these days. I hope this is the beginning of your daughter finding passion in art
