How do I stay consistent with drawing?

>>7888327Buy a calender and put it near your workspace (or where ever you normally draw) and mark each day you draw for more than 30 minutes. Worked for me so far. Also >>7888343
Be stupid enough to waste your time sitting in front of a paper dping lines. You need to be a loser shut-in to torture yourself like that.
>>7888327Have ideas you want to draw. Everyone who struggles with motivation just doesn't have stuff they actually want to work on and make
>>7888327Come up with some sort of shitty gimmicky anatomy basic shape protocol that works for you, so you can draw that figure basic style all the time, anywhere, non-stop, in all sort of made up poses, like making random shapes with play-doh>>7888356this too
>>7888327If you have to ask it’s already over for you
>>7888356this, drawing is not natural.
>>7888456>drawing is not natural.
The way I do it is by just making sure I have a lot of free time. Then you just have to male a choice: either you draw, or you basically do nothing browsing 4chan or whatever.

draw once a month
>>7888671@grok is this true
>tomorrow I will draw>wake up with brainfog>okay tomorrow I will draw>real life obligations kill my mood>okay tomorrow for sure>migraine
>>7888327Just have fun. How hard it can be to just have fun?
What I just realized is that I love colors and they give me more motivation to draw and paint. Maybe try painting with colors too and see if it gives you motivation? Some colors are really beautiful and pleasant to look at!
>>7894083I hate colors. Rendering is a beg trap. It takes away all the fun.
>>7894075Not everything about drawing is just fun. It's not very fun having to draw repetitive things like chains for example, but you still have to do it often if you want to create good pictureds
>>7888327>How do I stay consistent with drawing?Cultivate Disciprine.>>7889002>wake up with brainfog>draw anyway>looks like ass but you did your best today and that's a step up from doing nothing>get off your fucking phone when you go to bed.
>>7897001If you know how to draw then coloring is awesome. Doesn't mean you have to render much, just giving the drawing nice colors
>>7888327Ritualize it. Draw at the same time, in the same place whenever possible, every day. Get your favorite snack or drink, and allow yourself to have them only when you are drawing.
