What's the best way to learn how to start as a complete beginner? Like never drawn in my life beginner
>>7888779Betty Edward's book on drawing on the right side of the brain and Loomis and Xiao Weichun.I would recommend learning using the grid method and drawing bounding shapes from Krenz week 0 as it's basically just bargue drawing training but taught by a guy who speaks Chinese and draws animu

>>7888772Even better OP this time, even has Pawell
>>7888772Did Dan Dan(icandravv) beat the ai tracing allegations
>>7888786He gave a redline before and his style isn't THAT clean so it doesn't seem like it. He's been drawing the same way for years now
>>7888788you know, around peruvians NEVER RELAX
>>7888788So yes, I think he's not tracing, it seems like regular human art to me
>>7888776The torso is slightly too short on the goat
>>7888793>slightlyLike this?

>>7888772Does anyone have advice for getting clean lines while drawing with a pen tablet? I can't stop chicken scratching. I can't even draw a straight line let alone accurate contours. I've already tried putting a piece of paper over it and it barely helped. Are there any exercises that are good for practicing this? It's very frustrating.
I picked up Drawing on the Right Side of the brain, did a couple of the first exercises and started working digitally. Worked on this throughout the day on and off partially using a grid. I'm not looking for any particular critique, just sharing.>>7888810Use your whole arm and zoom in on the canvas, it's what has been working for me.

>>7888818Based mech bro
how the fuck do i draw hands betterAlso I need to get better at the parts where limbs joins (elbows, knees, shoulders and hips to legs)
I will just repost hereI will do the line weight later.
>>7888818>>7888829Also, how do I get better at drawing mecha? Scott Robertson kinda traumatised me
so what's the plan, we're posting in the spite thread with an AI trace OP, not the collage OP thread?
Give it to me doc
>>7888842Reread the name after your question and apply his techniques in freehand while not obsessively reaching for perfection. Guess what? Mechs are all cubes, cylinders and spheres so you're shit out of luck, you'll have to actually go at it pencil in hand over building literal lego blocks until it clicks for you and you'll be able to guess where to put the marks on the paper without multiplication, division and mirroring. Also watch some live streams of random good fuckwads doing mechs, you'll probably want to learn things like scale too if you didn't accidentally gleam it from Robertson already.
>>7888772Am i doing this croquis right? I don't think this is good. Should I care less about accuracy and go more for the gestures and feels?
>>7888872Also this. I was too dumb to get how to draw gestures from Vilppu. I was filtered.
>>7888772Am I doing my croquis right? I tried to draw it accurately. Should I go more with the flow and feels? My croquis don't have any nice feels. And I also can't see the whole body at once.
>buy drawing tablet>still shit>buy midi keyboard>still shitI think I'm the problem bros...
