>>7890777It looks to me that that's actually scratch board.I assume it's probably white scratch board, with the blacks fully inked in, and then hatches scratched back over.Quickly looking up the artist, and yes he uses scratch board, so it is safe to assume that's the medium here.So I guess it's called scratch board hatching?.. if you want a name for it, anyway.For digital, just fill a black area, and hatch with the eraser tool, or white, to achieve similar results.
