Have you ever done pixelart anon? What do you think of it?

I drew this today, working on eyeballing colors instead of using predefined palettes. Colors are hard when you are used to working in black and white, but i feel like i am improving.

While I tried holding a prop like that I realized it's a really dumb pose for holding a rifle. Goes to show dolls aren't the best references. At least the kung fu grip should look slightly more natural now.

and then make a game with lots of animation, and constatnly look at those sprites to see how they handled lines/shapes/hands/eyes/light etc
