What else do you guys do beside art? How do you manage the time and energy for art while doing school or a job?Me:>full time job>full time school (most of the classes are online though so no need to travel to class for most of them)>min wage workstudy job on top of main job and school>medical appointments and physical therapy sessions three times a week (I have physical disabilities to manage)>live alone so need to cook, clean, groceries, etc. by myself>at least I dont have kids

Govt wagie who is does game dev. It's basically all just a giant feedback loop to try to get promoted so I have more time to do dev and art stuff. Also being a dad is kinda neat too.Sometimes at lunch I'll tell people their work looks cool on the federal WiFi to confuse the IT guys. Not very hard to get past the site blockers when you have people in IT who regularly shitpost on /g/ on their phones

Govt wagie. I bring my drawing supplies to work daily and draw when I have down time. Trump downsizing the govt so hard over the past year now means I’m irreplaceable, so I do my work slowly and just spend half the day drawing now lol. Still, I consider quitting because the pay is awful. Barely more than minimum wage. Sad, because it’d be an ideal job if it only paid enough.
