I can easily spot mistakes when it comes to proportion or anatomy when I'm done with a drawing but never while I'm drawing.

try stopping every half hour or so and taking two hours to do something non art related. resets your brain, makes mistakes easier to spot.

this is why you need flip your drawings horizontally every few minutes. If you're doing trad, try holding a small mirror to your drawing.

every 5 minutes or so, take a short break from drawing, zoom out/take a couple steps back, or flip/mirror it you can see it with fresh eyes

Good drawing
