Draw them characters nekked and improve form, too flat to be visually interesting. Your clothes are too tight and don’t flow properly, look at tenniels Alice in wonderland. Do finished illustration of one character, get it to how you like it. Your line work improved which is an amazing leap in quality and performance, now you need to iron out form before rendering and such.

that collar won't lock. the pin fails to fasten the loose end (which is constantly trying to slip away due to forces) against the buckle's metallic part. with this design the collar can freely unravel and fall right off.

in other words, the buckle should be designed such that the pin points AWAY from the loose end, not towards it or it does nothing to keep it in place.

also it looks like the buckle might be attached to the hanging end (really the end that is meant to go through the buckle) and that loose hanging bit is an extra third end that protrudes out of nowhere. go study a collar in detail, or a belt, they work the same way.
