Throw the book in the trash, buy some quality sketchbook paper for $10, and buy some good pencils (Tombow, Faber-Castell, Mitsubishi, etc.). You're not fundamentally wrong but there's no reason to cheap out on supplies that cost 30 bucks at the high end and last you 6 months to a year.

For fucking what?? Spending extra money for some bullshit paper is only going to make you hesitate to use it and try to make pretty drawings so its not wasted. Get the cheapest ream of 500 printer sheets and see how quickly you can use them up. Then buy another 500! Use the cheapest pencils/pens you can possibly find.

the last 2 sketchbooks i used came from a dollar store and i still use the Walmart brand sketch pencils and erasers. the sketchbooks are bad
